Cebu Pacific nag-sorry kay VP Leni, piloto inaming walang basehan ang viral post
NAGLABAS ng pahayag si Cebu Pacific Air Vice President for Flight Operations Captain Sam Avila ukol sa naging post ng isa sa kanilang piloto sa social media patungkol kay Vice President Leni Robredo.
Aniya, walang basis ang piloto sa naging pahayag nito ukol sa pagkakaroon ng flight diversions ni VP Leni noon dahil sa pagpapa-hold nito ng flights para raw “priority to land” ang ginang sa Manila.
“Since becoming aware of the social media post by one of our pilots in reference to a flight of Vice President Leni Robredo, I confirm that the pilot has made it clear to us that he had no basis for his claim and was purely speculative and careless on his part,” saad ni Captain Sam Avila sa isang statement na inilabas ngayong Martes, Mayo 17.
Pagpapatuloy niya, “While the pilot posted his commentary on his own accord, a post he has since removed, on behalf of Cebu Pacific, and as Head of our Pilot Group, I take command responsibility and apologize unreservedly to the Vice President and the general public for the actions of our pilot.
Bilang professional aviators at malayang residente ng Pilipinas, bagamat malaya itong magpahayag ng kanyang opinyon ay kailangan pa rin nitong maging maging maingat dahil dala nito ang pangalan ng kanilang kumpanya.
“Cebu Pacific has very strict social media policies covering all of its employees and such a post should not have been published. This is recognized by the said pilot himself,” salaysay pa niya.
Dagdag niya, kasalukuyang ina-address ang pangyayari internally.
Matatandaang nag-viral ang naturang piloto sa social media matapos nitong mag-post patungkol sa flight diversions na ginawa ni Leni sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport matapos itong makiusap na i-prioritize diumano ang kanyang flight noong Abril.
Dagdag pa ng piloto, sakay umano niya ang ambassador ng Australia at pitong sanggol na labos ang pag-iyak habang may fuel stop.
Lumabas ito matapos mag-trending ang IG story ni VP Leni kung saan makikita itong namamalantsa ng gagamiting toga ng bunsong anak na si Jillian na nakatakdang magtapos ng kanyang double degree sa Mathematics at Economics sa New York University.
