MAGKAHALONG kalungkutan at excitement ang nararamdaman ngayon ng aktres na si Michelle Madrigal sa paglipat niya ng bagong bahay kasama ang nag-iisang anak na si Anika.
Matapos ngang maaprubahan ang divorce nila ng ex-husband niyang si Troy Woolfolk, nagdesisyon siyang lumipat na ng bahay bilang bahagi na rin ng kanyang pagmu-move on.
Sa kanyang bagong YouTube vlog, ipinasilip nga ni Michelle ang tinawag niyang “cute, tiny place” kasabay ng pagkukuwento tungkol sa mga kaganapan sa buhay niya as a single mother.
“All the feels like packing and all that, it’s finally coming to an end of not living in the same house. The new house is tiny, but it’s mine. It’s my own space, definitely a fresh start,” pahayag ni Michelle.
Aniya pa, “Nalulungkot din ako siyempre. I don’t think happy tayo kapag maghihiwalay. I’m just now getting Anika ready for having two separate homes, bit it’s a fresh start so I’m happy that I’m here.”
Sa kabila nito, naniniwala naman si Michelle na darating din ang tamang panahon na magiging maayos din ang lahat sa buhay nilang mag-ina.
“I’m just excited, nervous, lahat na ng feelings nandoon pati takot, uncertainty. I know, by God’s grace, everything is going to be fine. I’ve been put to a test through and through and He’s always been there.

“My faith is here. It’s just that minsan, syempre tao lang din, ‘di natin napipigilan maging negative, right? I honestly just try to stay busy para ‘di ako masyadong mag-isip. I know Anika and I are gonna be okay,” aniya pa.
Ikinasal sina Michelle at Troy noong April, 2019 makalipas ang ilang buwang relasyon. Isinilang naman ang anak nilang si Anika noong 2017.
Nagkakilala ang ex-couple sa pamamagitan ng dating app na Tinder kaya ang sabi ni Michelle, baka raw talagang kulang pa ang pagkakakilala nila sa isa’t isa at nagpagtanto na hindi pala sila compatible.
“We were both unhappy. I think the reason why this marriage did not work was because we’re not really compatible at all.
“I was in love. And that’s the chemistry. Whenever you’re together, there’s the energy, the fire. You may or may not like the same things, but you kind of ignore that when you have that chemistry because you’re so focused on that energy.
“They give you butterflies that you’re so attracted to this person and sometimes you ignore red flags. You kinda ignore your core values.
“I think most marriages or relationships in general don’t last because they’re not very compatible with the person they choose to be with,” ang pahayag ni Michelle sa isang panayam.
