Bagong Miss Universe PH crown tinawag na La Mer en Majesté; 32 kandidata ‘nagpainit’ sa Bora
Celeste Cortesi, Michelle Dee at Katrina Llegado at ang bagong Miss Universe Philippines crown
MAS lalo pang naging exciting at kaabang-abang ang gaganaping Miss Universe Philippines 2022 finals night dahil sa bagong koronang ipuputong sa tatanghaling winner.
Pagkatapos rumampa ang lahat ng official candidates sa ginanap na fashion test at press presentation ng nasabing national pageant, ibinandera na ng organizers ang bagong design ng Miss Universe Philippines crown.
Tinawag itong La Mer en Majesté, ang produkto ng bonggang partnership ng Miss Universe Philippines at ng luxury brand na Jewelmer.
“The Miss Universe Philippines Organization and Jewelmer envision this crown as an homage to her majesty, the sea, for she is the queen of the elements.
“Generous and powerful, she provided the world with this precious gem and contributed the crowned jewel to this exceptional masterpiece, the illustrious Miss Universe Philippines crown,” ang nakasaad sa official social media ng national pageant.
Makikita sa mga litratong ibinahagi ng organizers ang disenyo ng gintong La Mer en Majesté crown kung saan talagang binigyang highlight ang tinaguriang National Gem of the Philippines, ang perlas.
Ang ibig sabihin daw ng golden South Sea pearls ay, “a radiant symbol of the harmonious relationship between man and nature, capturing the very spirit of the Filipinos.”

Sa mga nakaraang Miss Universe Philippines pageant ang ipinuputong na korona sa itimatanghal na reyna ay gawa ng Villarica Pawnshop na ang design ay kawangis ng bandera ng Pilipinas.
Samantala, bago ganapin ang coronation night ng Miss Universe Philippines 2022 sa April 30 sa SM MOA Arena, nagpainit muna ang 32 kandidata sa isla ng Boracay.
Nitong nagdaang Lunes, April 18, rumampa ang mga official candidates sa poolside ng Aqua Boracay Hotel suot ang kanilang makukulay na swimsuit bikini.
Ang naganap ba swimsuit showdown ay magiging bahagi ng presentation ng pageant sa mga susunod na paandar ng organizers. Kasunod nito, nagparty-party naman ang mga girls sa Ibiza suite.
Walong kandidata naman ang binigyan ng special awards na tinawag na “Aqua Angels”, sila ay sina Miss Laguna Sonja Jeyn Tanyag, Miss Taguig Katrina Llegado, Miss Makati Michelle Dee, Miss Pasay City Celeste Cortesi, Miss Palawan Angelica Lopez, Miss Baguio Ghenesis Latugat, Miss Cebu Province Lou Dominique Piczon, at Miss Aklan Jona Sweett.
Ang mga Miss Universe na sina Pia Wurtzbach, Iris Mittenaere at Demi-Leigh Tebow ang magiging host sa grand coronation night.
