Tutti Caringal ng 6Cyclemind pinuna matapos kumandong sa babae habang nasa campaign rally
USAP-USAPAN ngayon ang vocalist ng bandang 6Cyclemind at Laguna councilor na si Tutti Caringal matapos mag-viral ang isang video kung saan makikita itong kumandong sa isang babae.
Kuha ang naturang video mula sa isang campaign rally sa Laguna na dinaluhan ng mga taga-suporta ng dalawa.
Makikita na sumasayaw si Tutti sa harap ng supporters. Present rin sa naturang rally si Calamba, Laguna Mayor Timmy Chipeco.
Bukod sa pagkandong ni Tutti sa babae mula sa audience ay ang pagtanggal rin ng bokalista ng kanilang face mask.
Agad namang kinondena ng Commission on Human Rights at Gabriella Party-list ang nangyari sa viral video.
Ayon kay Commission on Human Rights spokesperson Atty. Jacqueline Ann de Guia, “We condemn this incident as it is not only exploitative of women and demeans their inherent dignity, but it also debases the incumbent office, which the political aspirants hold.
“Further, it breaks health protocols as set by the Commission on Elections and Department of Health, especially that the pandemic is not yet over.”

Dagdag pa niya, “As the Gender Ombud, CHR takes this occasion to reiterate to the political aspirants involved and their party-mates that women are not sexual playthings to be objectified for the purposes of entertainment for the sake of garnering votes.
“Those in government, including those aspiring to be leaders, need to always bear in mind the primacy of respecting human rights.”
Saad naman ni Gabriela Partylist Representative Arlene Brosas, “Kahit sabihin na masaya ang pagtanggap ng mga dumalo sa pangyayari, iba ang pahiwatig ng video ng campaign rally nila.
“Hindi dapat gawing normal ang pagpapakandong sa kababaihan ng mga gustong umupo sa poder.”
Pagpapatuloy pa niya, “This is a distasteful display of women’s subjugation to men in power supposedly for entertainment purposes—when acts with sexual insinuation should not be material for fun. This contributes to the normalization of sexual harassment.”
Depensa naman ni Mayor Chipeco, nagkakasiyahan lamang daw sila sa naturang rally at walang malisya ang nangyari.
“It was a joyous event. Nothing malicious. Everybody was laughing. There was no malice when the incident happened.
“Everyone was having fun and smiling. There was no aggrieved party. Walang nabastos,” saad ng mayor ng Calamba, Laguna.
Ipinagtanggol rin ni Tutti ang sarili at sinabing “pure fun” lamang ang nangyari.
“If you watch the video closely, it was pure fun. Kung may na-violate doon, hindi magiging ganun ang reaksiyon ng tao, the crowd or even the person involved,” saad ng bokalista at kasalukuyang councilor ng Cabuyao, Laguna.
“In the first place, wala naman sila doon. Wala sila sa eksena, hindi nila alam ang mood ng tao, and why should they dictate kung paano nga dapat magsaya ang tao?
“Kanya-kanyang pamamaraan iyan kung paano gustong sumaya ang mga tao,” dagdag pa ni Tutti.
Sa kasalukuyan ay tumatakbo siya bilang board member ng Laguna.
