DAVAO CITY— Itinanggi ni Mayor Rodrigo Duterte na ang paksyon ni Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founder Nur Misuari ang nasa likod ng mga pagsabog sa kanyang siyudad kahapon.
“I just talked with Nur Misuari. He assured me it was not them,” ani Duterte, na inamin na kaibigan niya si Misuari. “I don’t know if these are sympathy moves (by other groups) but I am assured that the main MNLF declared they had nothing to do with the attacks.”
Samantala, binalaan ni Duterte ang mga management ng mga malls, hotels at iba pang establisimento na higpitan ang seguridad ng kanilang mga lugar kundi ay di siya mangingiming ipasara ang mga ito.
Inisyu ni Duterte ang warning isang araw makaraang pasabugin ang dalawang sinehan dito Lunes ng gabi.
Kung hindi sila maghihigpit ng seguridad, “I will close them down,” ani Duterte.
Idinagdag niya na responsibilidad ng mga establisimento ang kanilang seguridad ng kanilang mga lugar,
“You fall short of that responsibility, you are liable,” aniya pa.
Sinabi naman ni Senior Supt. Ronald dela Rosa, Davao City police director, na hanggang kahapon ay hindi pa nila nadedetermina kung anong grupo ang nasa likod ng pagpapasabog.
