Karen Davila, pamilya tinamaan na rin ng COVID-19: We are recovering quite well

KINUMPIRMA ng Kapamilya broadcast journalist na si Karen Davila na tinamaan na rin ng COVID-19 ang kanyang pamilya.
Ito’y matapos kumalat ang chika na naka-isolate na umano ang ilang staff ng Kapamilya news program na “TV Patrol” matapos magpositibo ang isang make-up artist.
Wala pang inilalabas na official statement ang ABS-CBN hinggil dito kaya wait na lang tayo kung totoo o fake news lamang ang lumabas na balita.
Kasunod nga nito, inihayag ni Karen na totoong nagka-COVID ang kanyang pamilya matapos mag-celebrate ng holiday season sa Boracay kung saan nakasama rin niya ang ilang kaibigan sa showbiz.
“I think it’s also the perfect opportunity for me to share with the public, as I was seeing that clip, that my own family tested positive for COVID.
“We are COVID positive after we arrived from the holidays, this coming New Year,” ang pahayag ni Karen sa nakaraang episode ng programa niyang “Headstart” sa ANC.
Siniguro rin ni Karen na maayos -ayos na ang kanilang health condition ngayon matapos ang ilang araw na self-quarantine. Aniya, “We are recovering quite well.”
Sabi pa ng news anchor, ang kanyang 14-year-old na anak na si Luke ang unang nag-positive sa COVID-19 matapos sumailalim sa antigen test.
Nabanggit din ni Karen na naturukan na rin siya at ang anak ng booster shots.
Kuwento pa ng celebrity mom, medyo nanakit ang katawan niya at feeling pagod na pagod bago magpa-swab test hanggang sa malaman nga niya na nahawa pa rin siya ng killer virus kahit bakunado na.
“The first one, I just felt fatigue, and I thought it was because I was on vacation, you know, taking care of the kids,” pahayag pa ni Karen Davila.
