I’m sorry, this is a public health emergency, we cannot just let this go.

“Importante talaga that everybody follows the law and the laws are there for everyone’s protection and safety. Let’s not think that we can get away with it dahil hindi talaga.

Narito ang official statement ng Mijo na inilabas nito kahapon, Dec. 31, 2021, “It has come to our attention that a person of interest tested positive and came into contact last December 23, 2021.

“We have done the necessary steps to monitor our staff for symptoms and facilitated COVID testing. Fortunately, our fully-vaccinated staff have all tested negative.

“Rest assured that the restaurant has been sanitized. More importantly, we are making sure that all who may have come in contact with the person of interest be informed as soon as possible.”

“It is unfortunate that this transpired in our premises, and has resulted in compromising the health and safety of our customers and staff. A number of our patrons and staff contracted the virus and are now in quarantine because of the situation.

“Before she was allowed entry, she showed proof of vaccination, filled out a health declaration form, and had her temperature taken. She was allowed to come in since the group she was with had a reservation with us.

“We had absolutely no idea that she came from abroad and was supposed to be under strict isolation in an approved quarantine facility.

“We are disappointed and share the same sentiments of most people about the decisions and actions taken by this individual, who has now compromised the health and well-being of our customers and staff,” sabi pa sa statement.
