Claudine Bautista-Lim nagsalita matapos kumalat ang cyber libel case laban kay Enchong Dee
NAGLABAS ng pahayag Drivers United for Mass Progress and Equal Rights (DUMPER) party-list Rep. Claudine “Dendee” Bautista-Lim matapos kumalat ang balita patungkol sa kasong cyber libel na isinampa niya laban sa aktor na si Enchong Dee.
Base sa statement na inilabas niya nitong Biyernes, Nobyembre 12, wala naman daw talaga siyang balak na magsampa ng kaso laban kay Enchong Dee at sa isang female netizen na damay sa isinampa niyang reklamo.
Hindi niya direktang pinangalanan sa statement ang aktor at female netizens atvtinawag lamang itong “certain personalities”.
Aniya, ito raw ay desisyon ng kanyang asawa na si Jose French “Tracker” Lim dahil lubos silang aapektuhan dahil sa mga “malicious” allegations na ibinato ng aktor laban sa kanya.
“On news reports regarding my filing of a cyber libel complaint against certain personalities, I would like to clarify that any legal action coming from us was instituted back in August of this year, upon my husband’s insistence and in response to the malicious allegations made against me at that time,” saad ni Rep. Claudine.
“While I would have preferred to be silent about this matter, my husband, like any good and loving family man, took it upon himself to seek redress from the legal system, to protect me and our family from baseless and damaging claims made against us,” pagpapatuloy ni Rep. Claudine.
Labis raw na nakapekto sa kanya pati na rin sa kanilang pamilya ang mga binitawang salita ni Enchong.
Lahad pa ni Rep. Claudine, bukod sa kanilang pangalan at negosyo, nakaapekto rin daw ang mga pahayag ng aktor pati ng female netizen sa kanyang kalusugan lalo na sa kanyang sensitibong pagbubuntis.
“Despite initial reservations, he and his lawyers chose to pursue the case, not just because he and his family — who value their privacy and are focused on their businesses — were unfairly dragged into the whole issue, but also, or more so, because he saw the heavy toll that the attacks took on my health, particularly on my sensitive pregnancy.
“The anxiety, anguish, humiliation and the impact on my and my family’s reputation left us no choice but to file cases against those responsible for causing us so much grief and worry, which almost led to me losing our baby, and which adversely affected some of our constituents’ trust in us,” dagdag pa niya.
Nagulat rin daw si Rep. Claudine nang kumalat ang balita kahapon, Nobyembre 11, sapagkat tahimik nila itong isinumite noong Agosto af hindi nila ito ipinaalam sa media.
“As we have the utmost respect for our legal system, we filed the case in August without fanfare. We are not aware of how the media learned about the case and why it was published in the news recently.
Ngunit sa kabila ng mga nangyayari ay naniniwala pa rin daw ang kampo nila Rep. Claudine sa fair justice system ng bansa.
Bagamat basa ika-walong buwan na siya ng kanyang pagbubuntis ay patuloy pa rin daw niyang ilalaan ang oras sa pagsisilbi sa kanyang constituents.
“Para sa akin, ngayong panahon ng COVID-19, mas mabuti pang pagtuunan natin ng pansin ang pagtulong sa ating kapwa,” sey ni Rep. Claudine.

Samantala, nananatili namang tahimik ang aktor na si Enchong Dee patungkol sa kasong isinampa laban sa kanya.
Bukas ang BANDERA para kay Enchong sakaling naisin nitong magsalita ukol sa isyu.
