Claudine Bautista-Lim nagsampa ng kasong cyber libel laban kay Enchong Dee
NAGSAMPA ng kasong cyber libel si Drivers United for Mass Progress and Equal Rights (DUMPER) party-list Rep. Claudine “Dendee” Bautista-Lim laban sa aktor na si Enchong Dee.
Ito ay kaugnay sa pahayag ni Enchong na “malicious” at “defamatory” patungkol sa diumano’y engrandeng kasal ni Claudine sa negosyanteng si Jose French “Tracker” Lim sa Balesin Island Club noong Hulyo.
Inihain ni Claudine ang kanyang cyber libel complaint sa Office of the Provincial Prosecutor sa Davao Occidental kung saan sila nakatira ng kanyang mister.
Matatandaang Agosto nang pumutok ang balita patungkol sa engrandeng kasal ni Claudine kung saan marami sa mga netizens at showbiz personalities ang hindi nakatiis na mag-react.
Ilan na nga rito ay sina Enchong Dee, Ogie Diaz, Agot Isidro, at Pokwang.
Ayon kay Claudine, nagulat na lamang siya dahil sunud-sunod ang mga mensaheng natatanggap niya mul sa kanyang pamilya at mga kaibigan dahil pinagpipiyestahan na siya sa social media.

“True enough, when I checked their Twitter accounts, thru my legal counsel, they each lambasted me for my wedding.
“This they did, even if I do not know them personally. I have no personal or professional dealings with them in the past or present yet they had the audacity to post something against me based only on hearsay.
“None of them were present at my wedding day nor a privy to the expenses for my wedding yet they attacked me as if they have personal knowledge of the expense for my wedding,” pahayag ni Rep.
Dagdag pa ni Claudine, pinalabas daw ng mga ito na isa siyang “corrupt” at “insensitive” sa grupo na nirerepresenta niya.
“Enchong Dee even went as far as saying that I used public coffers to fund my wedding by categorically saying that ‘The money for commuters and drivers went to her wedding’, to the detriment and injury to my honor and name.
“The posts were meant nothing more than their malicious intentions of maligning my person, depicting me as a corrupt public official.”
Humihingi si Claudine ng moral damages na nagkakahalagang P500,000,000 at exemplary damages si Claudine na nagkakahalaga rin ng P500,000,000.
Batid niyang nag-issue na ng public apology si Enchong sa naging pahayag niya patungkol sa kanyang kasal ngunit para kay Claudine ay hindi pa ito sapat.
“He was not sorry to me and for the damage that he has done. He just wants to deflect, albeit unsuccessfully, this criminal charge against him.
“This does not do any good for him. It only bolstered and magnified his admission of guilt beyond reasonable dount for his un-provoked and baseless libelous remarks.”
