“Beatrice Luigi Gomez has a tattoo; has a girlfriend. A proud member of the LGBTQIA+

Not your typical pageant candidate? Yes because she is a QUEEN and is meant to take home the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 crown,” comment ng isang netizen.

“Our first openly LGBTQIA+ Miss Universe Philippines Representative. Gorgeous, smart, and brave.

You will represent us well in Miss Universe 2021,” sey naman ng isa pa.

“The new Miss Universe Philippines is a proud LGBTQIA+ member.

The gays are literally winning tonight! Congratulations Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City,” hirit pa ng isa.

“When people condemn me because they say it is not what it says in the Bible, somehow I’m always reminded that being able to say who I am on stage in front of thousands of people was what God wanted me to do,” saad ng dalaga noong 2020 sa kaniyang Instagram post.

“Just like what everyone hopes for in the LGBTQIA+, I aspire for acceptance and inclusivity — especially equal rights and protection for the younger generation who oftentimes suffer from bullying and different forms of violence. They are left to fend for themselves, particularly those that are oppressed by their own parents,” dagdag pa niya.
