Samantala, miyembro ng Kamara ang isa sa host ng Showbiz Police na si Lucy Torres kaya’t hiningan namin siya ng komento tungkol sa mainit na usaping P10-billion pork barrel scam.
“Well, ito ang laging pinag-uusapan sa papers, in the media, in the house, kaya’t hintayin natin ang investigation, ang magiging resulta kasi tinututukan naman ito ng ating gobyerno,” kaswal na sabi sa amin.
Okay kay Lucy na i-abolish ang pork barrel, “You know, I’m a soldier, I’m a good soldier if the President (Noynoy Aquino) says abolish it, then I will support of the stand of the President.
“Yung priority development assistance fund (PDAF) kasi is a way, for like we representatives kasi is to adjust the needs of our constituents in a way na hindi naa-address ng gobyerno, doon kinukuha ‘yung scholarships, but now, lumalabas na it has been abused, dapat talaga those who are responsible for it is accountable because it is a public trust.
“So mahirap lang kasi there’s a sweeping statement, di ba? Mali ng isa, mali ng lahat, damay-damay talaga which is understandable and I agree rin talaga because it’s a very big scam, it involves public funds, it should be investigated, dapat lumabas ‘yung katotohanan,” paliwanag ni Lucy.
Tinanong din namin kung nagkaroon sina Lucy at Janet Lim Napoles ng pagkakataon na magkakilala at kung nabigyan din ng parte ng pork barrel ng TV host ang bogus NGO ng diumano’y itinuturong utak ng scam.
“No! Ang isip kasi ng tao, ang pera (pork barrel), ibinibigay ng buo sa isang congressman tapos hawak namin at kaming bahala. Sinasabihan kami na mayroon kaming pondo, you have to understand kasi the process at ‘yung pondong ‘yun ay kami ang mag-a-identify kung saan ilalagay, so walang perang dumaraan sa kamay namin.
“Ang ginagawa lang namin ay isusulat namin na ito ilalagay sa eskuwelahan, ilalagay sa hospital, doon napupunta ang funds,” paliwanag mabuti sa amin.
Samantala, nagmamadaling umalis na rin kaagad si Lucy dahil kaarawan ng nag-iisa nilang anak ni Richard Gomez na si Julianna.
