Beteranang aktres na si Janet Bordon pumanaw sa edad na 66

PUMANAW na ang beteranang aktres na si Janet Bordon na nakilala noong ’80s sa edad na 66 matapos ang ilang dekadang pakikipaglaban sa sakit nitong cancer.

Ayon sa anak nitong si Atty. Jay Bordon, pumanaw ang ina noong Setyembre 22 ng gabi sa kanilang bahay sa San Francisco, California.

“She was surrounded by love from her 89-year-old mother, five siblings, nieces, nephews, adoring daughter, and extended family,” pagbabahagi niya.

“Her death empowered her through 31 years of cancer, 9 major operations, and numerous treatments with grace and dignity. She was a strong and beautiful person throughout every moment of her lofe, including her last breath,” dagdag nito.

Ikinumpirma rin ng kapatid nitong si Rozel Bordon ang balita sa kaniyang Facebook post. Aniya, 31 years nang lumalaban ang kaniyang kapatid sa sakit nitong cancer at sumailalim na rin sa siyam na major operations.

“No more pain, Te Net, we love you so much Te Net,” saad nito.

Gaganapin ang kaniyang memorial service sa susunod na linggo sa San Francisco.

Nakilala ang aktres bilang paboritong leading lady ng mga action stars gaya nina Bong Revilla, Rudy Fernandez, at Anthony Alonzo.

Bumida rin ito sa mga pelikulang ‘Ako si Emma Babae”, “Tatak ng Yakuza”, “Biyak na Manyika”, “”Diegong Bayong”, “Virgin People”, “Apat na Maria” at ang huling pelikula nito na “Moises Platon”.

Kalaunan ay umalis rin ito sa showbiz para makasama ang pamilya na nasa ibang bansa,
