“In ‘Challengers,’ Zendaya stars as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach and a force of nature who makes no apologies for her game on and off the court. Married to Art, a champion on a losing streak played by Mike Faist of West Side Story, Tashi’s strategy for her husband’s redemption takes a surprising turn when he must face off against the washed-up Patrick, portrayed by Josh O’ Connor of The Crown, who also happens to be Art’s former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend.
“‘Challengers’ bounces through a dynamic, interweaving storyline that travels back and forth in these characters’ lives, framed by a revelatory tennis match between Art and Patrick that takes place 13 years since they met Tashi. As their pasts and presents collide, tensions run high on the cost of winning.”
Ang tinaguriang “hottest film of the year” ay mapapanood na exclusively sa Ayala Malls Cinemas.
