Mikael gusto uling makatrabaho sina Bitoy, Paolo at Antonio: Pero sana sa drama para maiba!

MAY isang kakaibang proyekto na naiisip ang Kapuso actor na si Mikael Daez para sa mga pambatong komedyante ng GMA 7.

Kung mabibigyan ng pagkakataon, gustong makatrabaho muli ni Mikael ang mga Kapuso comedian na sina Paolo Contis, Antonio Aquitania at Michael V. na nakasama na niya noon sa longest-running gag show sa bansa na “Bubble Gang.”

Pero sabi ng butihing asawa ni Megan Young, para maiba naman sa halip na comedy, nais niyang gumawa naman sila ng isang drama series o drama anthology.

“Pagdating sa kapwa artista na gusto ko sanang makatrabaho, I would like to work with comedy artists that I’ve worked with in ‘Bubble Gang’ in a drama setting,” pahayag ni Mikael matapos pumirma ng bagong kontrata sa GMA 7.

“I’ve worked with Sef Cadayona already, I would love to work with Antonio Aquitania, Paolo Contis, and Kuya Bitoy if possible. Pero drama setting, I think that would be so interesting and ‘yun ‘yung dynamic na lalabas and will also be very captivating to the audience,” chika pa ni Mikael.

Bukod dito, looking forward din siya na makatrabaho sina Lovi Poe at Heart Evangelist, “I have not worked with Lovi and I have not worked with Heart. I also find it captivating when you get to know someone new, especially in the workplace.

“Ano ‘yung habits nila, ano ‘yung tendencies nila. How do they go about the work and what kind of chemistry will we develop? So I would love to work with those people whom I have mentioned,” lahad pa niya.

Dagdag pa ng aktor, “I know that there are so many new artists. There’s an influx of very talented artists in GMA now. And kapag pwede na tayong bumalik with our normal everyday lives, I would love to meet them, and eventually work with them.

“It doesn’t really matter kasi whoever I work with, usually it’s always a blast, so I’m always looking forward to it,” aniya pa.

Samantala, abot-langit naman ang pasasalamat ng aktor sa pagre-renew uli ng kontrata sa GMA.

Aniya, sa 11 years niya bilang Kapuso, napakarami na niyang natutunan at na-accomplish bilang artista at tatanawin niy itong napakalaking utang na loob sa kanyang mother network.

“I will always tell myself, my loved ones, my wife, when we make a mistake, that also gives us an opportunity to learn and when we learn, we grow as a person, as a worker. If you keep on repeating that process, eventually you’ll be better than who you are.

“This makes me extremely happy. It shows that GMA is continually willing to invest and take a chance on me even though I’ve been in GMA for 11 years, and I’ve done a collection of projects already, the continual trust is something that shouldn’t be taken for granted, so I’m very thankful for that,” aniya pa.
