Siya ay 65 years old.

“I’m very sad to know that my co-star in Scorpio nights and a good friend Orestes Ojeda passed away. He was a gentleman, polite and kind.

“Please pray for him. Thank you Romm Burlat and Ismaelli Fava for taking the time to send me this news through messenger,” sabi ng dating sexy actress.

Naglabas din ng official statement ang Actors Guild of the Philippines tungkol sa pagpanaw ng aktor: “MAY YOU REST IN PEACE ORESTES OJEDA.

“Orestes Ojeda  is from Cagayan Valley and is Luis Pagalilauan in real life.

“His career started in 1973 and he  retired in 2004. He showed his versatility by appearing in comedy, drama and action movies.

“Based on his posts in Facebook, he is into the arts and have been touring a great deal.

“May the angels of love and mercy lead and guide him to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.”

Ito naman ang FB post ng kaibigan niyang si Benjamin De Yro wrote, “Goodbye, friend, LUIS PAGALILAUAN aka ORESTES OJEDA, an Ibanag actor who frequents Tuguegarao, his hometown then and now, even at the height of his popularity. The last time we talked to each other was 2019 when I bumped into him in a Tuguegarao Hotel. He died of pancreatic cancer.”
