Bea Alonzo sa paglipat sa GMA 7: I’m excited, I’m nervous, I’m scared…
WALANG naging problema si Bea Alonzo sa pag-alis niya sa ABS-CBN dahil maayos siyang nagpaalam sa dating mother network bago tuluyang lumipat sa GMA 7.
Kaya hindi totoo ang kumakalat na chika sa social media na nagkaroon daw ng isyu ang paglipat niya ng TV station kasabay ng mga patutsada ng ilang mga taga-ABS-CBN laban sa aktres.
Sa ginanap na “Bea Alonzo: New Beginnings” virtual mediacon kagabi na inihanda ng GMA 7, nagpaliwanag ang award-winning actress tungkol dito.
Paano nga ba ang naging proseso ng kanyang paglipat, “When the deal was 99% final — it was the first-time that I met them via Zoom, my bosses. The next day I called my boss before in ABS who was Sir Carlo (Katigbak).
“And I asked for his blessing and, siyempre, it was a very emotional call, it was a very emotional phone call hindi mo maalis that 20 years of my life I spent there.
“I mean, being with them and so, you know, what he wished me well and that he wished me good luck.
“Kasi, ganu’n naman talaga, hindi ba? Life must go on and I’m happy that I had his blessing, before being here and so all is well,” paglalahad pa ni Bea.
Todo naman ang pasasalamat ng dalaga sa napakainit na pagtanggap sa kanya ng mga executive ng GMA pati na ng mga bigating Kapuso stars.
“Sa totoo lang, kung magiging honest ako, surreal itong nangyayari. Sa totoo lang po, hindi ko maipaliwanag kung ano talaga ‘yung nararamdaman ko ngayon.
“Parang I’m excited, I’m nervous, I’m scared, I’m so happy all rolled into one.
“Doon sa mga mensahe ng mga Kapuso star and our Kapuso bosses, talagang napakasaya ng puso ko ngayon and I know that this day will be very special but hindi ko akalain na gagawin ganitong ka-espesyal and thank you for making me feel valued and loved ngayon pa lang. Salamat po!” mensahe pa ni Bea.
Samantala, may nagtanong naman sa aktres kung may kinalaman ba ang kanyang perennial screen partner na si John Lloyd Cruz sa paglipat niya sa GMA na nauna na ngang napabalita na magiging Kapuso na rin.
“To be honest, hindi, because I truly value the confidentiality of the deal. Because siyempre when you’re dealing with a big company such a GMA, parang I trust that they would do that for me also, and parang wala namang nag-leak before this event kung meron man haka-haka lang.
“Siyempre I would do the same for them. And as much as gusto ko siya tawagan na, ‘Uy, alam mo ba?’ pero hindi ko magawa. But probably I would tell him after this,” tugon ni Bea.
So, posible mga bang magkaroon sila ng reunion project sa GMA? “That would be one of the greatest ideas ever and I would love to work with John Lloyd again.
“But this time iba na ‘yung environment but siyempre this time iba na ‘yung mga kasama namin sa harap at likod ng camera and the other Kapuso stars.
“That would be exciting and something that I’m curious about. Sana no?” sey pa ng bagong Kapuso star.
