KIM pinagalitan ng STAR MAGIC dahil kay GERALD, winarningan

KIM Chiu was reportedly reprimanded by ABS-CBN execs over her recent statement na hindi niya panonoorin ang “OTJ” na movie nina Piolo Pascual and Gerald Anderson.

Naloka  ang mga taga-Star Magic nang umere ang naturang interview ni Kim. Tinangka raw pigilan ang airing nito but it was already too late kaya ayun, lumabas ang nasabing statement ni Kim.

With that ay napagsabihan daw  ang handler ni Kim na rendahan daw nito ang aktres. Hindi raw maganda sa imahe ni Kim ang nagsasabi ng ganoon.

It leaves a bad taste in the mouth nga naman na sasabihin mo sa ere na hindi mo panonoorin ang movie ng isang kasama mo bilang Kapamilya. Siguro naman ay magbe-behave na si Kim.

Incidentally, we watched “OTJ” along with three of our friends and we find the movie very engaging at hindi predictable.
Maganda ang pagkaka-weave ng kuwento at merong moments ang cast members.

Gerald, we feel, lacks the intensity of a hired killer. Hindi namin naramdaman sa kanya ang angas ng isang mamamatay-tao. Nadi-distract din kami sa boses niya, parang pinaghalong Bisaya at American.

‘Yung mga eksenang nagmumura siya ay hindi naman shocking, hindi malulutong ang kanyang mura at alam mong it is all acting.

Piolo’s character has more substance as the guy who’s caught between the good and the bad. Sadly, hindi pa rin namin nakita ang intensity niya as an actor although pasable naman ang acting niya.

Easily, Joel Torre is the movie’s greatest performer. As a seasoned hitman on the brink of losing his job as a hired killer, the actor showed to all and sundry his character’s dilemma.

Although his lines were bereft of impact, his emotions manage to seep through his eyes and facial expression. He was utterly POWERFUL in most of his scenes with Gerald that it will take a long while for anyone watching him to get through his scenes.

Joel Torre’s acting is like a torrential rain – intense and very heartfelt. His is the kind which will leave a lasting imprint on his viewers. From the beginning to the end, RAMDAM mo ang character niya.
