Angel sa Eleksyon 2022: Now is the time that we fight for what we deserve
NANAWAGAN ang Kapamilya actress-TV host na si Angel Locsin sa sambayanang Pilipino na magparehistro para makaboto sa darating na Presidential elections.
Ipinagdiinan ni Angel na karapatan ng bawat Filipino ang pumili ng mga public servant na sa tingin nila ay karapat-dapat na maglingkod sa mga mamamayan.
Sa kanyang Instagram page, nag-post ang fiancée ni Neil Arce ng kanyang litrato bilang paggunita sa Independence Day.
Aniya sa caption, “On this day of independence, it is time we break free from the circumstance of chance and take full charge of changing the course of our fate.”
Kasunod nito, ipinaalala nga ng dalaga sa kanyang mga followers ang kahalagahan ng pagboto sa Eleksyon 2022 para na rin sa kinabukasan ng buong bayan.
“With #Halalan2022 on the horizon, we are no longer just standing by the sidelines, because we know much better: our choice matters,” sey pa ni Angel.
Diin ng aktres, “A better Philippines is what we, as Filipinos, want and deserve.
“A Philippines that stands for and with our people; a Philippines that does not discriminate or hate. Now is the time that we fight for what we deserve,” aniya pa.
Pagpapatuloy pa ng aktres, “As stakeholders of this great nation, we are committed to forge the path to a stronger democracy, accountable governance, and a renewed Philippines.
“Claim your power to appoint equitable officials by registering to vote before September 30, 2021. Let’s do our part. You may register to vote now,” dagdag pa ni Angel Locsin.
Ilang beses nang nabanggit ni Angel sa mga nakaraan niyang interview na wala siyang planong sumabak sa politika at walang katotohanan na may ibang motibo ang ginagawa niyang pagtulong mula noon hanggang ngayon.
“Public servant naman po kami bilang mga artista, e. I think ‘yung buhay naman namin is very public.
“Lahat naman ‘to ginagawa namin, hindi lang para sa sarili namin, kung ‘di gusto namin magbigay ng entertainment sa mga tao.
“Pero, politics? Hindi talaga. Sobrang hindi. Wala sa utak ko ‘yun,” aniya pa.
