Kit Thompson waging best actor sa 54th WorldFest-Houston sa Texas para sa ‘Belle Douleur’

Ito ang post ni Atty. Joji Alonso sa Instagram na siyang nagdirek at producer ng pelikulang “Belle Douleur” na ipinalabas noong 2019 sa iWant.

Si Kit ang tinanghal na Best Actor sa Panorama Asia section sa ginanap na 54th WorldFest-Houston Film Festival sa Texas nitong Abril 22-25.

Tinalo ng aktor ang Japanese actors na sina Hideyuki Kawahara at Yuh Kamiya, para sa pelikulang “Sin-Gone Irony.”

Ang saya-saya ng Quantum Films  producer dahil ang unang full length movie niya ay napansin sa ibang bansa at nanalo pa ang main actor niya.

Binati namin si Atty. Joji sa magandang balitang ito at tinanong kung may plano uli siyang magdirek ng pelikula pagkatapos ng “Belle Douleur.”

“Plano? I want to do something closer to my short film. But at the moment, it’s the farthest thing in my mind.

“My priority is to get my family and employees vaccinated muna so I won’t have to worry too much,” pahayag ni Atty. Joji through chat message.

Ang sinasabing short film ni Atty. Joji ay ang “Short Order” na nahirang na Best Short Film sa Pyongyang, North Korea noong 2018 na pinagbidahan naman ng anak niyang si Nico Antonio.

Laking panghihinayang naman ng direktora dahil hindi nanalo ang female lead star ng “Belle Douleur” na si Mylene Dizon.

“Pero sana si Mylene din. Deserve niya ang award, sobra,” sambit sa amin ni Atty. Joji.
