Lucy Torres tatakbong senador sa 2022: Only God knows, only time will tell…

KALAT na ang balitang tatakbo raw si Leyte 4th District Rep. Lucy Torres sa pagkasenador sa darating na 2022 national elections.

Ito’y matapos mapasama ang pangalan ng misis ni Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez sa latest survey ng Publicus Asia na maaaring suportahan at iboto ng mga Filipino sa senado sa susunod na taon.

Nasa ikalimang pwesto si Cong. Lucy habang nangunguna sa listahan si Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, sinundad ni Sen. Manny Pacquiao, ikatlo si Dr. Willie Ong at ikaapat si Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero.

May balitang kinumpirma na umano ni Mayor Goma na nais tumakbo ng kanyang asawa sa pagkasenador next year ngunit depende pa rin daw ito sa magiging resulta ng mga isasagawang survey ng iba’t ibang grupo.

Samantala, sa official Facebook page naman ni Cong. Lucy nagbigay siya na maikling pahayag tungkol sa susunod niyang plano sa politika.

Aniya, “Only God knows, only time will tell. For now, I have a job to do as Representative of the 4th District of Leyte.” Ibig sabihin hindi niya isinasara ang pinto sa pagtakbong senador.

Sa comments section, ng kanyang FB post, mas marami ang nagsabi na susuportahan nila ang misis ni Goma sakaling sumabak nga siya sa mas mataas na posisyon sa gobyerno. Narito ang ilan sa mga komento ng netizens.

Help in advancing the interests of VisMin and further push out the Dilawan party filled with dubious intentions. The way you defended the anti-terrorism bill despite the hullabaloos of the unread wokes is truly admirable.”
