Derek: Hindi namin sinasabi ni Ellen na mas OK ako kay John Lloyd…we’re just meant to be

I never wanted to get married.

“Today is the first day I thought about my wedding.

I was supposed to do a movie with her. But that didn’t push through, she backed out. I ended up doing the movie with Lovi (Poe).”

At nang magkaroon nga ng chance na magkakilala at magkasama sila nang matagal, may kakaibang naramdaman agad si Derek, “I felt something different and I wanted to figure out what it was.”

Sundot naman ni Ellen, “We were hanging out almost every day for two weeks na.

Samantala, sinagot din ni Ellen ang tanong na, “What are you sure about Derek that you weren’t sure about with John Lloyd?”

“My relationships before didn’t work because I would shut down. When I worked on myself, that’s when learned how to communicate in a healthy way.

Hirit naman ni Derek, “Ellen’s not saying and I’m not saying I’m better than JL or any of her exes. Or that Ellen is better than any of my exes. We met at the right time, we’re meant to be. That’s how love works, how life works.”

“If I met him five years ago, it wouldn’t have worked,” ani Ellen.
