Nanatili pa rin sa kanyang condo unit si Kris Aquino sa Bonifacio Global City, Taguig kasama ang anak na si Bimby at ilang staff dahil hindi pa rin siya puwedeng bumiyahe dahil sa kanyang autoimmune condition.
Matatandaang naka-schedule ang mag-ina na tumira sa beachfront house na inupahan niya ng anim na buwan. Pero dahil sa muling nag-trigger ang sakit niya kaya sinabihan siya ng duktor na manatili muna ng Manila.
Muling nag-post si Kris ng update ng kanyang kundisyon para na rin sa kaalaman ng mga tagasubaybay niya
Ang caption ni Kris sa larawang pinost niya habang kinukunan siya ng dugo, “Having autoimmune conditions is hard to treat & it’s harder to predict when the physical manifestations will show up. (Example- my sudden drop in weight & insomnia now.)
“Many variables have to be taken into account. and you don’t know which one (if you have several conditions) will choose to act up.
“I had my tests done 12:30 AM, Thursday, konting lagpas Cinderella time. This was the one that required 10 hours of fasting. Thank you St Luke’s BGC for allowing one of my doctors to do the blood extraction where we’re currently living and fast tracking my results–your services are worth the additional expense.
“It was a case of good news/bad news today. allow me the privilege of keeping certain details to myself because i’m still processing the long term implications.
“I’m willing to share that if we ignore my RBC, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and WBC numbers, and looked only at everything else that would be tested for during a thorough blood exam, and without the autoimmune antibody markers we closely monitor, a healthy person would be very happy with my numbers.
“At this point, my current numbers RULE OUT both SLE & rheumatoid arthritis. BUT there are antibodies that have significantly increased again, putting added strain sa isang vital part ng katawan natin na minsan na dededma dahil hindi tayo aware kung gaano ito kahalaga.
“Yes, STRESS and ANXIETY are contributing factors, especially where my autoimmune is concerned.
“I understand, sympathize, and wholeheartedly empathize because many are suffering much worse than I am- that’s why I pray that the vaccine rollout for the Philippines will be smooth & successful. SWERTE yung mga eligible because as of now, hindi pa sure kung pwede ako. And as cases continue to surge, sobrang ingat ang kailangan.
“I especially pray for parents like me with kids below 18, kasi wala pang approved vaccine for our kids. Sila ang kinabukasan kaya sila ang dapat ma prioritize.
“Kung dadalang ang mga post, it doesn’t necessarily mean I am sad, depressed, and sicker- I am only giving myself time to heal until my next set of tests in about 10 to 12 weeks.”

“For my last post tonight let’s make this a group activity. I saw this on Pinterest and it made me think:
1. No matter how much of yourself you give, or how much you love, it’s still his choice on how he’ll reciprocate do not blame him because he did try to love you, just not in the way you had hoped he would. “Wag ipilit ang hindi itinadhana.”
2. I do not like unanswered questions. Painful truths hurt but in time you forget and eventually forgive, but lies and half-truths, they are dangerous, especially when prolonged.
3. Children are innately kind and loving, they only change when they see their parents getting away with selfish and hurtful acts.
4. Tomorrow is NEVER promised, so each sunrise is a gift to be treasured and nourished.
5. In case you are looking for new shows to watch- i highly recommend NEW AMSTERDAM (on Netflix they have until Season 2, on iTunes if you have a (emoji US flag) account it’s already Season 3.) Superman & Lois just started. The Resident and 911 are both on Season 4. FBI is Season 3 and FBI most Wanted is Season 2- why do I make time to watch? Because they show that although the lead characters have frailties, they bring honor to their work and are principled even at the worst of times. Baka mahirap nang humabol but Chicago PD & Chicago Med are awesome.
6. Please listen to Taylor’s Folklore and Evermore. And also listen to Dua Lipa’s self titled album and Future Nostalgia. If you are lonely or hopeful- they have your songs.
7. PLEASE keep reading and learning- before expressing an opinion, RESEARCH.
8. Always say thank you I took a chance and reached out to a friend (no, you don’t know we are friends)- we haven’t communicated in several years my person contacted his, and gave my numbers saying i needed some help. In less than 5 minutes he messaged… he owes me nothing BUT he’s that kind of man. Others will always tell you, “in case you need me, i’m here for you” or words to that effect… i know i wasn’t there for him, yet he’s already proven to me- there are still, a few good men. After too many tears, his friendship makes me feel secure. So during this time of uncertainty- his compassion is an answered prayer.
