“To GEMS, to the Guild of Educators, Mentors and Students… maraming-maraming salamat po sa inyong recognition.

Dahil syempre, sa panahon ngayon, maraming uncertainties but because of that, mas gaganahan ako na gawin pang lalong maigi ang aking trabaho of telling stories.

“So, muli, maraming-maraming salamat sa inyo. And please stay strong, safe and healthy always,” ani Dingdong.

Kinilala rin siya ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) sa FAN 2021 (Film Ambassadors’ Night) “for being one of the recipients of the Asian Star Prize at the Seoul International Drama Awards for his performance in Descendants of the Sun PH.”

“I am truly grateful to the FDCP for the Achievement in World Cinema Award for the recognition of Descendants of the Sun in the Seoul International Drama Awards.

“Para sa akin po, this symbolizes the government and the country’s support and acknowledgment of our craft, and the hard work of all the people, and the network behind Descendants of the Sun, the Philippine adaptation.

“More importantly, this award is a tribute to our modern-day Filipino heroes—our soldiers, healthcare workers, and volunteers. Ako po ay deeply honored, together with the whole DOTS team, to be sharing your inspiring stories to the whole world,” mensahe pa ni Dingdong.

Aside from this, Dingdong was also named as one of the recipients of the 2021 Cinemadvocate recognition for his exemplary humanitarian work and commitment to supporting the livelihood of displaced film and audiovisual workers during these challenging times.

Na-consider ko po itong trabahong ito and of course, His blessings, as an opportunity to reach out to others, and help in transforming their lives.

“Kaya iyong mga humanitarian and charitable initiatives through the YESPinoy Foundation, sa Dingdong PH, AKTOR, and my various involvements — these are humble contributions to my fellow Filipinos who have warmly embraced me and my family all throughout these years.

“I will also be able to pass on this commitment hindi lang sa aming partners and beneficiaries, pero siyempre, sa aking mga anak na rin,” sabi pa ng aktor.
