Red tide sa ilang lugar, ibinabala ng BFAR

Positibo sa paralytic shellfish poison ang mga lamang dagat sa Honda at Puerto Princesa Bays sa Puerto Princesa City.

Ayon sa Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, dapat na mag-ingat ang mga residente sa pagkain ng mga lamang dagat.

Positibo rin sa paralytic shellfish poison ang mga baybaying dagat sa Inner Malampaya Sound, Taytay sa Palawan; Sorsogon Bay sa Sorsogon; Coastal waters ng Dauis at Tagbilaran City sa Bohol; Tambobo Bay, Sianton sa Negros Oriental; Daram Island, Zumarraga, at Cambatutay sa Western Samar; Calubian, Leyte, Carigara Bay, at Cancabato Bay, Tacloban City sa Leyte; Biliran Islands; Guiuan at Matarimao Bay sa Eastern Samar; Balite Bay, Mati City sa Davao Oriental; Lianga bay at Coastal waters sa Hinatuan sa Surigao del Sur; at Dumanquillas Bay sa Zamboanga del Sur.

Positibo sa red tide toxin ang San Pedro Bay sa Western Samar.

Ayon sa BFAR, lahat ng shellfish at Acetes sp o alamang na nakukuha sa mga nabanggit na lugar ay hindi ligtas para kainin.

Ligtas namang kainin ang mga isda, pusit, hipon, at alimango ay ligtas basta’t siguraduhin lamang na hugasan nang mabuti, tanggalin ang hasang at lutuing mabuti.

Wala namang red tide na sa karagatan ng Milagros sa Masbate.
