Pia Wurtzbach na-insecure at natakot nga ba kay Catriona Gray?
MAY mga nagpakalat ng chika sa social media na may issue raw si Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach sa kapwa niya beauty queen na si Catriona Gray.
Hindi umano feel ni Pia ang pagkapanalo ni Catriona sa Miss Universe noong 2018 dahil threatened daw siya sa talent at intelligence ng dalaga.
Sinagot ng actress-beauty queen ang tsismis na ito sa interview ng Gulf News Dubai. Nagpunta sa Dubai si Pia para personal na tanggapin ang kanyang Woman of the Year Award mula sa Xpedition magazine.
Dito mariin niyang dinenay na hindi niya sinuportahan ang pagrampa ni Catriona sa Miss Universe, “I was there in Thailand when she won. I was actually like, almost in the front row.
“It’s so nice to see it from the audience’s point of view because I’ve been there as a contestant, I’ve been there as a judge, but it was my first time to be there as an audience member where I’m literally there just to experience it,” paliwanag ng dalaga.
“People would say to me before, ‘She’s threatened because she doesn’t want another Filipina from the Philippines to win.’
“But once you’re there, all of that goes out of the window because you just want to raise the flag. You just want Philippines to win. Everybody’s so happy. How can you be the bitter one? Why would you want to ruin the party?” lahad pa ni Pia sa nasabing panayam.
Bukod dito, napakarami rin niyang realizations matapos ang kanyang reign bilang Miss Universe. Aniya, mas kinailangan pa niyang patunayan sa buong universe na karapat-dapat siya sa korona at titulo.
“The thing I wish somebody told me was that, after you win, you got to work twice as hard to stay relevant. Because the peak is the win, and then the reign.
“After that, usually, you’ve got to work twice as hard to keep yourself up there, to keep yourself relevant and in the public eye,” sey ni Pia.
“I still do activities like this, where I get invited abroad, I wouldn’t miss this opportunity. Of course, I’m here.
“I want to personally be able to do the shoots, I want to do these looks, but I also want to do advocacy work. This was my dream. If you love what you do, it’s not difficult,” dagdag pang pahayag ng beauty queen.
