Ellen DeGeneres tinamaan na rin ng COVID-19: I’ll see you all again after the holidays!
PAGKATAPOS mapabalita ang pagreregalo ng bagong sasakyan ng talkshow host na si Ellen DeGeneres sa isang Filipino nurse sa Amerika, ibinalita naman nitong tinamaan din siya ng COVID-19.
Kahapon, naglabas ng official statement ang American comedian-TV host sa kanyang official Twitter account tungkol sa pagkakaroon niya ng killer virus.
Aniya, lahat daw ng mga taong nagkaroon ng close contact sa kanya ay nasabihan na kabilang na ang staff ng “Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
“Hi Everyone, I want to let you all know that I tested positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now.
“Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines.
“I’ll see you all again after the holidays. Please stay healthy and safe.
“Love, Ellen,” ang kabuuang pahayag ng TV host.
Nabatid na istriktong sinusunod ngayon ni Ellen ang lahat ng health guidelines para sa taong may COVID-19. Kasabay nito natigil din ang pag-ere ng kanyang programa at baka raw bumalik ito pagkatapos na ng holiday season.
Balitang naghigpit muli sa ilang bahagi ng US kabilang na ang Los Angeles (kung saan kinukunan ang The Ellen DeGeneres Show) at nagre-impose ng mga restriction sa household gatherings at indoor and outdoor dining dahil sa pagdami uli ng COVID cases.
Nauna rito, niregaluhan nga ni Ellen ang Fil-Am nurse na si Flor Roz ng brand new car bilang pasasalamat sa pagiging bayaning frontliner nito sa Amerika.
Isa ring COVID survivor si Flor at sa kabila ng matinding hirap at sakripisyo na kanyang ginagawa para sa kaligtasan ng mga COVID patients ay hindi pa rin siya sumusuko.
Mensahe sa kanya ni Ellen, “It’s just amazing what you’ve been doing. I know that you and your husband are sharing one car.
“So I’ve partnered with Hyundai and they want to thank you for your service. They want to give you this Hyundai Palisade. This is your car. No more Ubers for you.
“Just know how much we love you and appreciate you and when you’re exhausted, in those times that you can barely go on anymore, just remember how many people love you and how many people are so grateful for you. Thank you for what you do.”
