Ang mama ko naospital because of her age and COVID, pero hindi niya sinabi sa akin

Reggee Bonoan - September 30, 2020 - 12:37 PM

“MY mom was confined in the hospital for a suspected COVID-19. She never informed me.

“Ayaw niya raw kasi akong mag-alala. Here’s a #BNamnam on how parents love us unconditionally.”

While on leave on TV Patrol, I did some harvesting in my Molly’s Little Farm in Baguio. Nakakatuwa and nakaka-amaze.

“At some point I did appreciate the efforts of our farmers in Cordillera, at siyempre, for a short time ako’y naging #plantita! #SideB.

“#bnamnam proud igorotak here! I want to explore my Mama Elaine’s hometown more kasi I grew up locked up in my room!  Please tell me what you love about Baguio and what do you want me to explore.

“What do you want me to see? Allow me to take you to Baguio while you are still planning your vacation. In case you are wondering, I am a returning resident not a tourist in Baguio,” ang post nito sa kanyang FB page.

“Hello, our Bnamnam today is in Baguio City kasi gusto kong mag-road trip. Okay no cause for alarm, ‘yung mama ko, she’s the kind of mama na ayaw niyang may mag-aalala sa kanya.

“Very independent and I get her very much kasi feeling ko, pareho kami ng ugali. I don’t want people to worry.

“If I can take care of myself, I would, feeling ko nakuha ko ‘yun sa mama ko.

“So ang mama ko naospital because of her age and because of Covid, sinabi sa kanya hindi ka na lalabas suspected Covid, but thank God, it was negative.

“But anyway, she stayed in the hospital for a couple of days, she was even confined in the ICU, but she didn’t tell me.

“Shout out to Mitzi who took care of mama in the hospital and tito Richard, thank you very much.  Thank you very much for taking care.

“But again, going back to our parents, intindihin natin sila sa panahon ng Covid, intindihin natin sila kapag gusto nilang lumabas.  Dito sa Baguio actually, Sundays are for senior citizens and their families because they would want to go out of course,” pahayag pa ng news anchor.

Aniya pa, “I have to praise our local government here for thinking of the needs of the elderly.

“If there’s anyone who loves as unconditionally, magulang natin ‘yun so I hope, we spent good quality time with them during this pandemic.

“And kudos to my wonderful asawa who loves my mama so much, suwerte tayo if we find someone who loves our family the way that we do. So Bnamnam your time with your parents and ‘wag pagalitan ang mga magulang na parang bata, okay?” mahabang kuwento ni Bernadette.

“Every Sunday is free for all, puwedeng lumabas kahit mga bata, pero kailangan may social distancing pa rin,” sambit nito.
