Dating NBI chief Dante Gierran, itinalagang bagong PhilHealth president
Si dating National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Dante Gierran ang uupong bagong presidente ng Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Gierran kapalit ng nagbitiw na si Ricard Morales.
Sa pulong sa Inter Agency Task Force kagabi, inanunsyo ng pangulo ang pagtatalaga kay Gierran na isa ring abogado at accountant.
Kasabay nito ay ipinag-utos ni Duterte ang pagsibak sa pwesto ng mga regional vice presidents ng PhilHealth sa buong bansa.
Si Geirran ay nanilbihan sa NBI mula taong 2016 at nagretiro sa pwesto noong Pebrero.
