Kawal, 2 pa dakip sa P6.8M shabu

ARESTADO ang isang miyembro ng Army at dalawa nitong kasama nang makuhaan ng aabot sa P6.8 milyon halaga ng hinihinalang shabu, sa buy-bust operation sa Quezon City, kaninang umaga.

Nadakip sina Pfc. Omar Salillaguia Pagayawan, 35; Amel Abdul, 31; at Jonaid Londoy, 27, ayon sa ulat ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Isinagawa ng mga tauhan ng PDEA Special Enforcement Service, PDEA-Calabarzon, at Quezon City Police sa parking lot ng Ever Gotesco Mall, dakong alas-8:30.

Nakuhaan ang mga suspek ng tinatayang 1 kilo ng umano’y shabu, at narekober sa kanila ng buy-bust money.

Kinumpiska din sa kanila ang isang motorsiklo, at sari-saring identification card.

Makikita sa mga larawang nilabas ng PDEA na naka-uniporme pa si Pagayawan nang madakip at may patch pa ng Armed Forces Joint Task Force-NCR.

Pero ayon kay JTF-NCR commander Brig. Gen. Alex Luna, hindi nila “organic personnel” si Pagayawan na isang reservist.

“Pagayawan is under the National Capital Region Regional Community Defense Group… He previously rendered voluntary duty in Pasay City [for] the COVID-19 pandemic, but this has been terminated on June 15,” ani Luna.

Dahil dito, pasasampahan aniya si Pagawayan ng usurpation of authority at illegal use of uniforms and insignia, bukod sa paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Law.

Hiniling na aniya ng JTF-NCR na ipa-delist sa serbisyo si Pagawayan.

Pinaiimbestigahan na din ng Army ang kinasangkutan ni Pagawayan, ayon kay Col. Ramon Zagala, tagapagsalita ng hukbo.

“The Army Reserve Command will investigate this matter accordingly and if found guilty, he (Pagawayan) will be expelled from the service,” aniya.
