Para sa karamihan, ang Anti-Terror Bill o binansagang ‘Terror Bill’ ng ilang mga netizens ay isang paglabag sa freedom of speech at human rights.
Ayon sa bill, maaaring maging ‘acts of terrorism’ ang pagsali sa rally, pagdodonate sa mga non-state recognized na organisasyon, at vandalism.
Ang mga suspected terrorist din ay maaaring i-wire tap ng 60 hanggang 90 na araw, arestuhin ng walang warrant, at hindi eligible sa P500,000 reparations in damages per day of wrongful detention.
