Dine-in restaurant hihilingin na payagan nang magbukas sa GCQ

IREREKOMENDA ng Department of Trade and Industry sa Inter Agency Task Force ang unti-unting pagbubukas ng mga dine-in restaurant sa ilalim ng general community quarantine.

Sa virtual hearing ng House committee on trade and industry na pinangunahan ni Valenzuela Rep. Wes Gatchalian, muling tinalakay ang mga hakbang upang makapagbukas na ang mga negosyo.

Sinabi ni DTI Usec. Ruth Castelo na mayroong mga health protocol na kailangang sundin sa pagbubukas ng mga kainan.

“Those that are not ready may take their time and prepare so that we will all be sure that we can all be safe dining in inside their restaurants,” ani Castelo.

“All operations are subject to post-audit from DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment), DTI, DOT (Department of Tourism), and the local government unit health officers or other deputized organizations,” ani Castelo.

Magsasagawa umano ng random inspection ang DTI upang matukoy ang mga lalabag sa health protocols.

Gagawa rin ang DTI ng mekanismo upang makapag-report ang publiko ng mga paglabag sa halip na i-post na lamang sa social media ang reklamo.

Sinabi ni DTI Sec. Ramon Lopez na dahil sarado ang mga kainan sa ilalim ng Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine irerekomenda ng ahensya sa IATF na payagan ng magbukas ang mga ito sa ilalim ng GCQ at hindi na hintayin ang Modified GCQ.

“Since during GCQ, this particular service is not yet allowed, we are making a case na i-allow ito by presenting this and therefore all these are basically recommendations at this point. We hope to get the approval,” ani Lopez.

Kasama sa health protocol na ipatutupad sakaling payagan ng IATF ang operasyon ng mga dine-in restaurants ang magkakalayong upuan at lamesa, foot bath o floor mat disinfectant sa mga entrance, mandatory thermal scanner check at mga marking kung saan lamang maaari ang kustomer tumayo.
