Lockdown
INIREKOMENDA ng mga mayor sa Metro Manila na ilagay na sa General Community Quarantine ang rehiyon simula sa Hunyo 1.
Sa isinagawang virtual press briefing kanina, sinabi ni Metropolitan Manila Development Authority General Manager Jojo Garcia na unanimous ang pag-apruba sa rekomendasyon.
“Unanimously po, ‘yung ating NCR mayors acceptable sa GCQ,” ani Garcia.
Ang rekomendasyon ay ipinadala sa Inter Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases upang paaprubahan.
Nilinaw naman ni Garcia na maaaring mayroong mga partikular na lugar gaya ng barangay o compound na manatiling lockdown dahil sa dami at bilis ang pagkalat ng coronavirus disease 2019 doon.
Inaasahang maglalabas na ng desisyon ang IATF ngayong linggo kaugnay ng uri ng quarantine na ipatutupad sa Hunyo.
Ang Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine ay mula Mayo 16 hanggang 31.
