KINONTRA ni Pasig mayor Vico Sotto ang sinabi ni Pangulong Duterte na hindi ito pabor sa pagbubukas muli ng klase sa gitna ng coronavirus pandemic.
“Ano man ang mangyari, hindi natin puwedeng hayaan na mahuli ang mga magaaral natin sa mga pampublikong paaralan…” ani Sotto.
Dagdag pa niya, nakikipagtulungan na siya sa Department of Education sa posibilidad ng muling pagbubukas ng klase o kung ‘virtual classes’ ang kanilang gagawin.
“We are preparing better internet connections at the barangay level where students can download the modules. (DepEd is doing module-development now but we will also assist as needed) Whether A or B, we are identifying funds for personal learning devices for students.” sabi ni Sotto.
