Nagwalang Pasay councilor lagot sa DILG

MASYADONG “OA” ang ginawang pagra-rant ng konsehal ng Pasay City sa mga frontliners na nagsasagawa ng Covid-19 testing sa mga empleyado ng City Hall kaya nararapat itong maparusahan, ayon kay Interior Secretary Eduardo Año.

Sa panayam ng Teleradyo kaninang umaga, inamin ni Año na mayroong naganap na miscommunication at maaaring mali na ginawang lugar para sa rapid testing ang session hall ng siyudad.

(Pero) excessive ‘yung ranting niya kasi ilang beses siyang nagmura doon,” ani Año na ang pinatutungkulan ay si Pasay City Councilor Arnel Moti Arceo na napanood sa viral video habang sumisigaw at nagmurura nang makitang ginawang lugar para sa Covid-19 testing ang session hall.

Sinabi naman ng opisyal na sa ngayon ay pababayaan muna niya si

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano kung kakastiguhin o hindi si Arceo.

“Siyempre pinakamaganda naman diyan magkaroon sila ng settlement. Pero sa nakikita ko, masyadong excessive ‘yung pagmumura ni city councilor kaya dapat meron din tayong mailagay na sanction dito,” aniya.

Humingi naman ng tawad si Arceo makaraan ang insidente pero sinabi niyang hindi siya nasabihan na magsasagawa ng rapid testing sa City Hall.

“It is true that I cursed. But I just want to clarify that I did not curse anyone. This was an outburst of emotion. If my cursing was hard to listen to, that was my mistake. I shouted, yes, but what I felt because of what they were doing was a mix of shock, anger and fear,” paliwanag ni Arceo. –Inquirer
