KINUMPIRMA ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque ang pagkakasibak sa pwesto ng isang Assistant Secretary ng Office of Civil Defense at pagbibitiw sa katungkulan ng Undersecretary ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
“The Palace confirms that Office of the Civil Defense Assistant Secretary Kristoffer James Purisima has been relieved from his post effective immediately due to loss of trust and confidence,” sabi ni Roque.
Hindi naman sinabi ni Roque ano ang partikular na isyu laban kay Purisima.
“We likewise affirm that the President has accepted the resignation of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary Eliseo Rio, Jr.” dagdag ni Roque.
Nagpasalamat naman si Roque sa naging serbisyo ni Rio sa gobyerno.
“The Palace thanks Usec. Rio for his invaluable services to the nation and we wish him well in all his future endeavors,” ayon pa kay Roque.
