DAPAT umanong magkaroon ng mass testing bago pabalikin sa eskuwelahan ang mga guro.
Ayon sa Alliance of Concerned Teachers dapat tiyakin ng Department of Education na ang mass testing ay libre.
Mahalaga rin umano na maisagawa ang mass testing bago papasukin ang mga guro sa pampublikong paaralan sa Hunyo 1, ang unang araw ng enrollment sa pampublikong paaralan.
“We welcome DepEd’s proclamation recognizing mass testing as an important step with regards to class opening. We forward, however, the need for the same before education workers are asked to report on June 01. This should be completed with test results before we return to work, and without charge,” ani ACT Secretary Raymond Basilio.
Sinabi ni Basilio na mahalaga na maglabas ang DepEd ng malinaw na guidelines kaugnay ng pagbabalik ng mga guro sa paaralan.
“These are crucial not only in ensuring a safe working environment, but also in determining whether the agency may be able to operate should classes open in August. We cannot afford to risk the lives of our colleagues and especially not the lives of our students,” dagdag pa ni Basilio.
Sinabi ni Basilio na hanggang ngayon ay kulang pa rin ang datos ng gobyerno upang makagawa ng maayos na desisyon dahil sa kakulangan ng test sa malaking bahagi ng populasyon.
