Leifbilly Begas - May 16, 2020 - 11:40 AM

“Two of the worst hit municipalities  — Jipapad and Maslog — remain isolated up to today because all roads leading to the two municipalities are still unpassable due to flooding and fallen trees and debris along the highway,” ani Evardone.

“The teams of DPWH, provincial government and AFP tried to penetrate all roads leading to the municipalities (yesterday) but they were unsuccessful. We will try again today to access those towns. Electricity and communication lines to the two municipalities are cut off.”

“I have received reports that the flood in Jipapad reached up to the 2nd floor of houses. I’m worried about the people there, specially the elderly and children. I hope and pray that there are no casualties in the two municipalities.”
