ARESTADO ang dalawang lalaki, kabilang ang isang public school teacher, sa buy bust operation sa Brgy. Sirao, Cebu City kahapon.
Aabot sa P340,000 halaga ng shabu ang nakumpiska mula kina Gary James Dela Cerna, 39, ng Sitio Tawagan sa Brgy. Sirao, at Joliber Leyson, 23, ng Sitio Luyo, Brgy. Adlaon.
Nasakote ang dalawa alas-8:45 ng gabi sa Sitio Tawagan sa bulubunduking barangay ng Sirao.
Ayon sa Drug Enforcement Unit, isang “high-value individual drug pusher” si dela Cerna, isa ring guro, na matagal na nilang minomonitor.
“On the evening of his arrest, we received information that he is still selling illegal drugs even if there’s a pandemic going on. That’s why we conducted a buy-bust operation,” ani Lt. Col. Randy Korret, hepe ng City Mobile Force Company.
