P122M tulong naibigay ng PCSO noong Abril

NAGKAKAHALAGA ng P122.654 milyong tulong ang ibinigay ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office sa 13,236 mahihirap na pasyente noong Abril.

Ayon sa PCSO ang naibigay nitong medical assistance ay para sa confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, hemophilia at post-operative medicines sa ilalim ng Medical Access Program nito.

Sa inilabas na pondo, P113,236,328.95 ang ibinigay sa iba’t ibang tanggapan ng PCSO para sa 12,445 pasyente at ang P9,417,575.88 ay para sa 791 pasyente na idinaan sa mga Malasakit Centers na nasa ospital.

“Amid the COVID-19 virus threat, the charity agency is taking the necessary steps in order to continue providing medical assistance to the increasing number of indigents seeking help from PCSO, through its flagship Medical Access Program (MAP). Rest assured that the Agency will find ways to meet the medical and health-related needs of all Filipinos especially the marginalized ” ani PCSO General Manager Royina Garma.

Muling binuksan ng PCSO ang pagbibigay nito ng tulong sa mga mahihirap na pasyente noong Abril 15.

Sa National Capital Region (NCR) ang inaprubahan ng PCSO ay P12,046,480 para sa 887 pasyente, Southern Tagalog at Bicol Region (STBR) ay P21,562,835.93 para sa 2,442 pasyente, Northern and Central Luzon (NCL) ay P31,744,092 para sa 3,591 pasyente, P27,803,845 para sa 2,793 pasyente sa Visayas Region at P20,079,076.22 for Mindanao Region para sa 2,732 pasyente.

Sa Malasakit Centers natulungan naman ang 791 pasyente ng P9,417,575.88.
