Vico Sotto: Wala akong alam sa love, wala munang lovelife
TALAGANG iwas na iwas si Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto sa usaping love.
Mukhang matatagalan pa talaga bago magkaroon ng girlfriend ang alkalde dahil wala pa ito sa mga top priorities niya sa buhay.
Sa interview kay Mayor Vico nina Rico Robles at Karla Aguas sa kanilang show sa Monster RX 93.1, muling natanong ang anak nina Vic Sotto at Coney Reyes tungkol sa love.
“Love? What is love? ‘Love is patient, love is kind.’ Wala akong alam sa love at wala munang lovelife,” natatawang pahayag ni Vico.
Isang listener ang nagtanong sa alkalde kung ano ang maipapayo niya sa kanyang sarili noong 20-year-old pa lang siya.
“I’d probably tell myself to study a bit harder and to get more experience with extra-curricular activities.
“Kasi hindi ako masyadong active nun e. So, I felt like after college, naghahabol ako ng experience. Pero okay naman ako ngayon.
“But, I probably would have done a lot better if I had that experience in college. Join maybe, or be a bit more active sa orgs and probably take acads a little bit more seriously kasi ‘di ako masyadong nag-aral nu’ng college,” paliwanag niya.
Pinasalamatan din ni Vico ang mga magulang, lalo na si Coney sa ginawang pagpapalaki sa kanya, “I think from my work ethic to just having integrity, it comes from my parents, from both of them.
“Well, of course, it was my mom who really raised me because I grew up with my mom. But my dad was there as well.
“As you know, my mom is very religious. She is God-fearing, God-loving, and that’s what she really imparted to me at a young age. My dad also. So, how I work and I think that really comes from them,” aniya pa.
