Mass testing center sa QC ilalagay kada distrito

MAGBUBUKAS ng mga mass testing center ang Quezon City sa bawat isa sa anim na distrito nito.

Ayon kay Mayor Joy Belmonte bubuksan na ngayong araw ang testing center sa District 4, 5 at 6.

Ang District 5 testing center ay nasa SB Park Novaliches samantalang ang District 6 ay nasa University of the Philippines-Asian Institute of Tourism.

Ang unang community-based testing center ng lungsod sa Quezon City Experience (QCX) sa Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC) ay sakop ng District 4.

Ang testing center ng District 1, 2 at 3 ay posibleng buksan sa Martes kapag naging pinal na ang lugar na paglalagyan nito.

“We are opening more testing centers located in different districts so that we can accommodate and identify more residents who might have COVID-19,” ani Belmonte.

Ang bawat testing center ay kayang may-test ng 50 katao bawat araw. Mayroon itong swab booth, blood testing at x-ray examination.

Ang mga nais na magpa-test ay kailangang makipag-ugnayan sa kanilang barangay.

Target ng siyudad na makapagsagawa ng 1,800-2,000 swab test kada linggo kasama ang isinasagawang testing ng mga lokal na ospital gaya ng Quezon City General Hospital, Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital, Novaliches District Hospital at Quezon City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (QCESU).

Ang mga swab test sample ay ipoproseso sa Lung Center of the Philippines at St. Luke’s Medical Center-Quezon City para malaman kung positibo sa COVID-19.

Isang kasunduan ang pinasok ng Quezon City government at Philippine Red Cross para sa dagdag na 1,500 test kada linggo.

Ayon naman kay community-based testing Project Manager Joseph Juico pumasok sa kasunduan ang city hall at Quezon City Police District  para tumulong sa community-based testing.

Ang QCPD ay maglalaan ng 30 nurse at anim na medical technician na tutulong sa QCESU na nagsasagawa ng contact tracing. Dahil dito magiging walong team na ang nagbabahay-bahay para magsagawa ng confirmatory test.
