ASAHAN na ang pagdami ng kaso ng Covid-19 sa mga susunod na araw sa Cebu City dahil sa isinasagawang mass testing.
Ani City Health Officer Daisy Villa, nakapagtala ng 22 bagong kaso ngayong araw, isang araw lamang makaraang simulan ang mass testing sa siyudad. Sa kasalukuyan ay nasa 53 na ang kaso sa Cebu simula noong Marso.
Ani Villa, ito na ang simula nang pagtaas ng Covid-19 cases sa siyudad.
Nagsimula ang mass testing sa Sitio Sto. Niño sa Brgy. Labangon at Sitio Zapatera sa Brgy. Luz.
“The challenge here is that most cases are asymptomatic. This means that because they showed no symptoms, they may have been complacent from the day they were infected,” aniya kaya mahalaga umanong dire-diretso ang mass testing.
“The cases will rise. We have not yet reached the peak,” dagdag niya.
