Ninoy Aquino Stadium magbubukas bilang quarantine facility sa April 8
HANDA nang tumanggap ng mga pasyenteng may mild symptoms ng coronavirus disease o COVID-19 ang Ninoy Aquino Stadium sa Rizal Memorial Sports Complex simula April 8, ito ang inanunsyo ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque Lunes ng hapon.
Ayon kay Duque nasa huling mga hakbang na sa paglilinis at pagdidisinfect ang quarantine site na bubuuin ng may 112 cubicle.
Ang bawat cubicle ay may kama, side table at upuan, at power outlets. Ang mga pasyente ay may libreng pagkain at libreng Wi-fi din.
Inabot lamang ng limang araw ang pag-convert ng Ninoy Aquino Stadium sa isang quarantine facility.
Bukod sa Ninoy Aquino Stadium, ginawa rin quarantine facility ang Philippine International Convention Center and the World Trade Center na ininspeksyon nitong Lunes ng mga opisyales ng National Task Force COVID-19 kasama ang COVID czar na si Carlito Galvez Jr.
Ang iba pang lugar na tinitignan para gawing quarantine facility ay ang Veterans Memorial Medical Center, Quezon City Circle, Amoranto Stadium, at Quezon Institute sa Quezon City, Duty Free Philippines sa Paranaque, PhilSports Complex sa Pasig, FTI sa Taguig City, Filinvest Tent sa Alabang at ang Philippine Arena sa Bulacan.
