Fil-Am guard Remy Martin sasali sa 2020 NBA Draft

KABILANG na si Arizona State University junior point guard Remy Martin sa mga nagdeklara na lalahok sa 2020 NBA draft.

“Starting from a young age, I have worked towards the opportunity to play in the NBA and I have now decided to take another step into making my dream a reality,” sabi ng Fil-Am playmaker na si Martin sa kanyang pahayag nitong Martes. “I will forever cherish the time I have spent at ASU.”

Pinamunuan ni Martin ang Sun Devils sa itinalang 19.1 points. 4.1 assists at 3.1 rebounds ngayong 2019-20 season kung saan nakaabang ang koponan sa ikatlong sunod na NCAA Tournament appearance bago natigil bunga ng paglaganap ng coronavirus na nagpahinto sa college basketball postseason. Si Martin ay napabiling din sa first team all-Pac-12 ng The Associated Press.

Ang 6-foot guard mula Chatsworth, California, USA na si Martin ay agad nagpakitang-gilas para sa Arizona State bilang freshman noong 2017-18 season kung saan mula sa bench ay tinulungan niya ang Sun Devils na umabot sa NCAA Tournament sa unang pagkakataon sa loob ng apat na taon.

Si Martin ay pumangalawa sa Pac-12 scoring bilang junior at kinunsidera bilang frontrunner para sa conference player of the year bago naungusan ni Oregon Ducks guard Payton Pritchard sa huling bahagi ng season.
