NAGBABALA ang Department of Information and Communication Technology sa kumakalat na post sa social media kaugnay ng pagbibigay umano ng P20,000 ng Social Security System sa mga miyembro nito.
Ang “P20,000 Para sa Lahat ng SSS Pangtawid” post ay isa umanong phishing attack.
Nakasaad doon na “P20,000 para sa lahat ng miyembro ng SSS pangtawid dahil sa Covid-19 inaprobahan (sic) ng Pangulo”. Mayroon din itong logo ng SSS at lirato ni Pangulong Duterte.
Kapag pinindot ang post ay mapupunta ka sa RANDOMNAMES.CLUB na isang phishing site.
Ang phishing website ay nagpapanggap na isang legitimate page na maaaring magnakaw ng impormasyon ng isang user na maaaring magamit sa pag-hack ng account.
“Be wary of similar phishing threats. Refer only to official government websites and sources for information and updates,” saad ng babala ng DICT.
