KINANSELA ng Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Board of Governors katuwang ang Office of the Commissioner umpisa ngayong Miyerkules, Marso 11, ang lahat ng mga laro nito sa PBA Philippine Cup at PBA D-League Aspirants Cup games kabilang na ang iba pa nitong aktibidades at ang PBA 3×3 tournament.
Napagdesisyunan ito ng liga matapos ang ginanap na Special Board Meeting noong Martes ng gabi, Marso 10.
Bilang konsiderasyon sa mga kasalukuyang nagaganap kaugnay sa coronavirus (COVID-19) at ang Presidential declaration of Public Health Emergency, sinabi ng liga na katungkulan at responsibilidad nito na siguruhin ang kalusugan at kaligtasan ng mga fans, players, teams, officials at staff.
Sinabi pa ng liga na babantayan nito ang epekto ng COVID-19 araw-araw base sa pamamaraan ng Department of Health (DOH) at World Health Organization (WHO).
Idinagdag pa ng liga na hangad nitong maisagawa ang mga laro at aktibidades nito sa ligtas at responsableng paraan para sa lahat ng mga tagasuporta nito.
