Palasyo itinanggi na sobra-sobra ang ginastos ni Duterte noong 2016 presidential campaign

ITINANGGI ni Presidential Spokesperson at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo na sobra-sobra ang ginastos ni Pangulong Duterte sa kampanya noong 2016 presidential elections.
“No. Definitely. Number one nga siyang against sa mga violators. He is not violating the law. He enforces the law,” sabi ni Panelo.
Ito’y matapos ang pawagan ng Kontra Daya sa Commission on Elections (Comelec) na imbestigahan ang posibleng overspending ni Duterte sa pangangampanya noong 2016 kung saan gumastos ng P175 milyon ang kampo niya sa campaign ad sa ABS-CBN pa lamang, batay na rin sa naging pagdinig ng Senado noong Pebrero 24.
“He keeps on saying baka, so he is speculating. Kung ako yun… ang Comelec pumasok na diyan,” dagdag ni Panelo bilang tugon sa panawagan ni Kontra Daya convenor Danilo Arao.
Tiniyak naman ni Panelo na bukas ang Palasyo sa imbestigasyon.
“The President is always open di ba? Everytime he is being accused… magdemanda kayo,” giit ni Panelo.
