Palasyo sa coronavirus: Kontrolado ang sitwasyon
TINIYAK ng Palasyo na kontrolado ng gobyerno ang sitwasyon sa harap naman ng mabilis na pagkalat ng coronavirus sa iba’t ibang bansa kung saan apektado na rin ang US.
Sa isang briefing, sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo na suportado ng Malacanang ang mga hakbang ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.
“I talked with Secretary Duque, and he said that we are on top of the situation. It has not reached an alarming level that we have to do some drastic measures, like prohibiting people from entering, especially those suspected of having that kind of virus,” sabi ni Panelo.
Idinagdag ni Panelo na hindi pa magpapatupad ng travel ban sa mga bansa na may outbreak ng coronavirus, partikular sa Wuhan, China kung saan nagmula ang coronavirus.
“Sinabi niya, hindi pa, hindi pa nakikita iyong kailangang gawin iyon,” ayon pa kay Panelo.
Ayon pa kay Panelo, tuloy pa rin ang biyahe ng mga airline sa Wuhan, China.
Ani Panelo wala pang direktiba si Duterte hinggil sa virus.
