INIHAIN ni Albay Rep. Joey Salceda ang pagtatayo ng komisyon na siyang mangangasiwa sa relief, resettlement, rehabilitation at livelihood services para sa mga nasalanta sa pagsabog ng bulkang Taal.
Ang komisyon ay tatawaging Taal Eruption Recovery, Rehabilitation, and Adaptation na tatagal lamang ng pitong taon at maaaring i-extend ng hanggang tatlong taon lamang.
“Towards this end, the State shall mobilize significant public resources and encourage private investment into both short-term relief and long-term reconstruction into safer, more resilient economic development in the Eastern Batangas – Southern Cavite – Western Laguna area,” ani Salceda.
Ang pagtatayo umano ng mga kinakailangang imprastraktura ay makapagbibigay din ng trabaho sa mga tao sa lugar.
Ang mga imprastraktura na itatayo ay kukuhanan din ng calamity insurance alinsunod sa rekomendasyon ng National Treasurer at Insurance Commission.
Ang komisyon ay dapat ding maghain ng report sa Pangulo at Kongreso kaugnay ng mga progreso ng mga proyekto nito.
