Kathryn, Arjo pinatunayan ang pagmamahal kay Ria: I’m so kilig!

“Thank you. I’m so kilig. I’m very fragile as a person so nakakakilig na nandito sila. This is actually a material that I’m proud about so I’m happy that they are here to see it,” ani Ria nang hingan ng reaksyon sa suporta ng kapatid at kaibigan.

It’s a story about five friends who are strunggling here in Manila, finding their space here. And above all, it’s really talking about the realities that we face everyday.”

Para naman kay Chai who’s playing Yeye in the series, “I believe that the entertainment media is not just here to entertain people or to make people forget about their problems. One of its function is also to educate, at least informally educate people. So storytelling is a way to get people to talk about the issues that we are supposed to be talking about.”

“Also, makikita natin dito ‘yung different issues na minsan ay nagiging bulag tayo, nagiging bingi tayo, pero dito maipapakita ito — mahirap sa mayaman, karapatan na hindi naibibigay sa LGBT people, mga stigma at marami pang iba, especially struggles and stereotypes when it comes to millennials,” aniya pa.

Sey naman ng kanilang direktor na sina E. Del Mundo at Joshua Lim So, ang “Manilenniels” ay isang “unfiltered, dark comedy original series, which depicts the challenges and social issues that millennials in Manila get to face on a daily basis. Here, Fifth, Chai, Nicco, Mela and Ria play as five friends navigating their ambitions, identities, and values while finding themselves, ith the busy and colorful rollercoaster ride that is Manila as their backdrop.”

Pwede nang mapanood ang “Manilennials” for free sa iWant app (iOs and Android) o sa iwant.ph mula sa Barrio Dos at Spring Films.
